CLEARANCES & REGISTRATION:
TRAVEL COACHES
STEP 1: Complete the YMS Coaches Volunteer Application
STEP 2: Obtain your required background clearances.
STEP 3: Upload your requirements in GotSport, the EPYS registration system.
STEP 4: Email admin@ymssoccer.net when all requirements are complete and uploaded into GotSport.
BACKGROUND CLEARANCES
ALL volunteers and paid coaches/trainers MUST complete PA Background Checks, which are good for 5 years. In addition, Heads Up concussion training and Safe Sport training must be completed annually. See below for links based on your specific situation.
Volunteers who have lived in PA for 10+ years:
- PA State Police - Access to Criminal History
- PA Child Abuse History Check
- FBI Affidavit of Compliance
- CDC Heads Up Concussion Training (Launch course through your GotSport dashboard.)
- SafeSport Training (Launch course through your GotSport dashboard.)
- Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer Risk Management Form (signed in your GotSport dashboard)
Volunteers who have NOT lived in PA for 10+ years:
- PA State Police - Access to Criminal History
- PA Child Abuse History Check
- FBI Background Check - Fingerprints
- CDC Heads Up Concussion Training (Launch course through your GotSport dashboard.)
- SafeSport Training (Launch course through your GotSport dashboard.)

GotSport is the registration system used by Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer. Please follow these instructions to upload your background clearance documents and complete your requirements in GotSport.
