About EPIC

Now in our 36th year, we once again host YMS EPIC in memory of longtime YMS Tournament Director and coach Bob "Doc" Dougherty. Though Bob is no longer with us, he is still remembered for his dedication to this tournament and to the club over the years.

EPIC is one of the most popular tournaments in the Northeast and is a Featured Event GotSoccer Tournament. Levels of play range from Travel to Premier to ensure we offer competitive games for everyone. We expect over 300 team again this year, and all teams are guaranteed at least 3 games.

U9/U10 - 7v7: $700

U11/U12 - 9v9: $800

U13-U19 - 11v11: $875

Multi-Team Discount

$50/team discount for clubs sending 5 or more teams.

*Discounts are not stackable.

Locations

All games will be played in and around Yardley, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Tournament Headquarters will be at 1000 River Road, Yardley, PA. Fields are located minutes from I-295 at the PA/NJ border.

Register Now, Pay Later

We offer teams the ability to register now and to pay later, when you have collected your spring team fees.

Sanction

The tournament is approved by the Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer Association and will be played in accordance with FIFA rules. US Youth Soccer Permission to Travel forms are not required for US Club and USYS Region I teams accepted into the EPIC Tournament. The only exception being USYS teams from New Jersey and Connecticut. All USYS Teams located outside of Region I must obtain an approved US Youth Soccer Permission to Travel Form, approved by a duly authorized State or National Association representative, to attend the EPIC Tournament.

Competition

EPIC will offer divisions in U9 to U19. Only club teams will be permitted. No tournament teams will be allowed. GUEST players must be evidenced by proper documentation. Five guest players per team are the maximum allowed. Valid player passes must be shown at the time of registration for all players.

Awards

Awards will be given to the champions and finalists in each bracket.

Application Deadline

The deadline to apply for the 2025 EPIC Tournament is Wednesday, April 2, 2025. Teams applying after the deadline will be placed on the waitlist.

For teams who advance to the final rounds of the State Cup finals, all efforts will be made to work around your schedule. If this cannot be done after all efforts are exhausted, the team will receive a full refund, after the approval of the tournament director. We are a player-friendly tournament and strive to give all the kids the most competitive play possible, at all levels. Good luck to all the teams!
