Recreation League Spring 2024
The YMS Recreation League is open to children born between 1/1/2005 and 5/1/21 (High School Seniors through Peewees). The spring season begins the weekend of April 5th. Registration fees, divisions & schedule are listed below.

*A $25/player Facilities Fee is also required for each registration. This fee will go towards the operational costs to maintain and improve fields and facilities for the club.

WAITLIST INFO:
If divisions reach capacity, please register for the waitlist. You will only be charged the $25 facilities fee at registration. If you have registered on the waitlist, we will do our best to place your player on a team. Waitlist players might not be added to a team until the start, or after the start, of the season. This is dependent upon the number of players who register and/or drop out, and the number of volunteer coaches we have. If we are able to add your player to a team, we will communicate the info as quickly as we can, and let you know how to make a payment to complete your registration. If we are unable to place your player, we will refund the facilities fee.
Team placements are generally completed approximately 2 weeks prior to the start of the season. Once your player is assigned to a team, your coach will send you an email with details about the season, including practice nights. Volunteer coaches set the day/time of their weekly practices.

Requests are NOT GUARANTEED. Refunds will not be given if requests are not fulfilled. We make every effort to accommodate requests as best as we can, but based on the number of players, number of coaches, scheduling issues, and field space, it is not possible to grant every request.
Requests can only be made for your child. You cannot make requests on behalf of someone else.
Technical Training Program (TTP) Spring 2024
The YMS Technical Training Program (TTP) has been designed to improve individual technical skills and small group play for U8-U12 players, whatever their level of play. These 8-week sessions are run by YMS Director of Coaching David Simpson and select YMS Academy Trainers.
Ages: U8-U12 (2012-2016 birth years)
Days: Fridays
Dates: April 5 - June 7 (*No sessions May 10 & May 24)
Time: 5-6 pm
Cost: $150 per player
Location: Macclesfield Park Turf Field
Pre Academy Program Spring 2024
YMS Pre Academy is a supplemental technical training program designed for aspiring U6 & U7 recreation league players born in 2017 or 2018 who wish to improve their soccer skills. This 6-week session is held on the Macclesfield Park turf field.
Ages: U6 & U7 (2017-2018 birth years)
Days/Dates: Fridays, 6pm-7pm (*5-6PM SESSION IS FULL*)
Cost: $125 per player
Location: Macclesfield Park Turf Field

Mini Kickers Spring 2024
Note: To be eligible for the fall 2023 season, players must be born between December 1, 2018, and October 1, 2021.
YMS offers a Mini Kickers weekday program for all children 3.5 to 5 years of age. David Simpson (YMS Director of Coaching) and Mick McAllister (YMS Premier Trainer) run the program during the spring and fall months. This program is designed to introduce the younger children to the game of soccer in a smaller environment, so they can become familiar with all the aspects of ball mastery in soccer by playing fun games with the instructor at an appropriate pace in a non-competitive environment.
Ages: 3.5-5 years
Two 6-Week Sessions Available (separate registrations):
- Tuesdays, 9:30-10:30 am
- Dates: 3/26, 4/2, 4/9, 4/16, 4/23, 4/30
- Thursdays, 1:00 -2:00 pm
- Dates: 3/28, 4/4, 4/11, 4/18, 4/25, 5/2
Cost: $125 per player

Special Stars Spring 2024
YMS Special Stars is a soccer program designed for children and young adults with special needs. In addition to being active and having fun, this program is dedicated to engaging the athlete on specially adapted soccer skill building and helping to teach these young men and women important lessons about self-pride and bravery, as well. Practices and games are structured to provide a stress-free opportunity for special athletes to engage in soccer, while fostering social skill building and interactions between the athletes and the volunteer buddies. Our goal is to enable the athletes with disabilities to become valued and successful soccer players of YMS!
*No prior soccer experience is necessary!*
Ages: 3-19
Dates: Sundays, April 6 - June 8 (*No sessions May 11 & May 25)
Game Times: 3-4 pm
Cost: $50 per player
Location: Edgewood Elementary School

Adult Coed League Spring 2024
Registration will close on March 27, 2024, or when league capacity is reached -- whichever comes first. NO LATE REGISTRATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED.
The YMS Outdoor Adult Coed League runs from the beginning of April thru the beginning of June.
Days: Sunday mornings
Dates: April 7 - June 9 (*No games May 12 & May 26*)
Location: Macclesfield Park Turf
Format: 9 v 9 format
Fees:
- Early Bird Rate: $110/player
- Thru 2/29/24
- Regular Rate: $125/player
- 3/1/24 until close of registration
