Recreation League Fall 2026
ROSTERING IS IN PROCESS. NO ADDITIONAL REQUESTS REGARDING TEAM PLACEMENTS ARE BEING ACCEPTED.
The YMS Recreation League is open to children born between 8/1/08 and 8/31/23 (High School Seniors through Peewees). The fall season begins the weekend of September 11th. Registration fees, divisions & schedule are listed below.
Team placements are generally completed approximately 2 weeks prior to the start of the season. Once your player is assigned to a team, your coach will send you an email with details about the season, including practice nights. Volunteer coaches set the day/time of their weekly practices.

REGISTRATION FEES:

*Register players separately in order for the discount to be applied correctly. The discount will be reflected on the "Review Selections" step of the registration.
**A $25/player Facilities Fee is also required for each registration. This fee will go towards the operational costs to maintain and improve fields and facilities for the club.
WAITLIST INFO:
If divisions reach capacity, please register for the waitlist. If you have registered on the waitlist, we will do our best to place your player on a team. Waitlist players might not be added to a team until the start, or after the start, of the season. This is dependent upon the number of players who register and/or drop out, and the number of volunteer coaches we have. If we are able to add your player to a team, we will communicate the info as quickly as we can, and let you know how to make a payment to complete your registration. If we are unable to place your player, we will refund the registration fee.
WE NEED VOLUNTEER COACHES!
Volunteer coaches are vital to the success of our league. We are always looking for head coaches and assistant coaches. Don’t be shy, get out there with your kids! Support for volunteer coaches is provided via coaching clinics, coaching videos, and coaching plans at beginning of each season. All coach registrations are subject to approval by YMS. Technical Training Program (TTP) Fall 2026
The YMS Technical Training Program (TTP) has been designed to improve individual technical skills and small group play for U8-U12 players, whatever their level of play. These 8-week sessions are run by YMS Director of Coaching David Simpson and select YMS Academy Trainers.

Pre Academy Program Fall 2026
YMS Pre Academy is an 8-week supplemental technical training program designed for aspiring U6 & U7 recreation league players born 8/1/19-7/31/21, who wish to improve their soccer skills. The sessions are held indoors at the YMS TEC.

Mini Kickers Fall 2026
Players must turn 3 years old before the start of the fall season (9/15/26).
YMS offers an indoor Mini Kickers weekday program for all children 3 to 5 years of age. David Simpson (YMS Director of Coaching) and Mick McAllister (YMS Elite Trainer) run the program, which is designed to introduce the younger children to the game of soccer in a smaller environment, so they can become familiar with all the aspects of ball mastery in soccer by playing fun games with the instructor at an appropriate pace in a non-competitive environment.
Player Age: 3-5 years
Cost: $135 per player

Special Stars Fall 2026
Special Stars Athletes & Volunteers: Please register using the same link above!
YMS Special Stars is a soccer program designed for children and young adults with special needs. In addition to being active and having fun, this program is dedicated to engaging the athlete on specially adapted soccer skill building and helping to teach these young men and women important lessons about self-pride and bravery, as well. Practices and games are structured to provide a stress-free opportunity for special athletes to engage in soccer, while fostering social skill building and interactions between the athletes and the volunteer buddies. Our goal is to enable the athletes with disabilities to become valued and successful soccer players of YMS!
*No prior soccer experience is necessary!*
Ages: 3-19
Dates: Sundays, 9/13/26 - 11/8/26 (*No games on 9/27*)

Adult Coed League Fall 2026
Registration will close on August 23, 2026, or when league capacity is reached -- whichever comes first. NO LATE REGISTRATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED.
