Applications are now being accepted for the YMS Class of 2024 Merit Scholarships. These awards are intended to recognize the academic and extracurricular achievements of YMS players, and assist them with their college, university, or trade school expenses. All current YMS recreation/travel/premier players who will graduate high school in 2024, and are in good standing with the club, are eligible to apply. Former YMS players and current college students may not apply.

The application deadline is May 31, 2024. In order to be considered for an award, all required fields must be completed, and all materials must be received by the application deadline.

The YMS Scholarship Review Committee will determine the number of awards given and the monetary value for each. Notification of awards will be made before the end of June. Award checks will be written to the student(s), and the funds can be utilized as needed. The YMS Board of Directors will invite any scholarship winners to a YMS General Membership Meeting for recognition -- date, location and format (in-person or virtual) to be determined.
