Small Nick Tucci Circle

A former standout player at YMS and Neshaminy High School, Nicholas Tucci brings competitive energy, loyalty to the club, and a development-focused mindset to his role as a coach. Originally from Langhorne, Pennsylvania, Nick played at YMS for seven years, where one of his most memorable moments was winning the State Cup in 2008.

At Neshaminy High School, Nick’s impact on the field was undeniable—he was honored as the SOL Player of the Year in 2014. He went on to continue his playing career at West Chester University, where he deepened his understanding of the game and the importance of team structure and resilience.

Now in his fifth year coaching at YMS, Nick currently leads the 2013 Girls Raptors team and works with the 2016 Boys Academy. He holds both his USSF F and D Licenses, reflecting a strong commitment to coaching education and player development.

Nick’s coaching philosophy is simple and effective: “Regardless of age or ability, I strive for development in a positive learning environment.” His sessions focus on progression, clarity, and competitiveness, making space for players to grow while being pushed to improve.

He believes character development plays a “huge role” in youth soccer and works to integrate it through teamwork, decision-making, and perseverance—not just to develop players, but to build life skills they’ll carry beyond the field.

When asked what drives him as a coach, his answer is direct: “Winning.” And when players face adversity, he offers the kind of advice that gets results: “Anything that will make them work harder at it.”

Outside of soccer, Nick enjoys good food, traveling, and spending time with his dogs. He’s a dedicated supporter of Juventus, bringing a tactical edge and love for high-level soccer into his own coaching approach.
