Matt is currently coaching three YMS teams and has been a part of the soccer community for many years at several levels. He coached at Bensalem High School for 26 seasons over 18 years, from 2002-2017 (Remember when boys played in the fall and girls in the spring?) There he coached boys varsity, boys JV, boys freshman, and girls JV.  He coached Varsity girls at Calvary Christian Academy from 2018-2020 where he was the 2019 BAL Coach of the Year. He is currently the JV and Assistant Varsity coach at Villa Joseph Marie (2021-Present).   

Matt grew up in Northeast Philly playing at Fox Chase Soccer Club. He played at Phoenix Soccer Club for 13 years as well after college (Premier and 0-30s).

Matt met his wife, a Division 1 soccer player, at Liberty University while working Sports Information for the women's soccer team. He is a teacher in Bensalem Schools. Matt holds a USSF D coaching License. 

Matt and his wife have two teenagers who also play for YMS. Matt is a HUGE Bayern Munich and German fussbal fan.
