KIMBERLY PAWLOWSKI MCFILLIN

A native of Philadelphia, Kimberly brings a wealth of experience and accomplishments as both a player and a coach to her role.

As a player, Kimberly had an exceptional career. She was a four-year varsity starter at Saint Joseph’s University, where she earned All-Atlantic 10 honors in 2006 and 2007 and was named to the Atlantic 10 All-Tournament Team in 2003. Her youth career with the FC Bucks Challenge (1999–2005) was impressive, culminating in four EPYSA State Championships and Region 1 titles in 2003, 2004, and 2005. Kimberly also represented EPYSA on the ODP team from 1996 to 2002 and the Region 1 team from 1999 to 2001, earning a spot at the prestigious ESP Camp in 2001.

Kimberly’s coaching career is equally distinguished. She served as the assistant varsity girls' coach at Archbishop Wood High School from 2018 to 2023, helping guide the team to three Catholic League Championships during her tenure. At the collegiate level, she worked as an assistant coach for the Saint Joseph’s University women’s soccer team from 2011 to 2012. These roles have given her deep insights into player development and team dynamics, which she now applies in her work at YMS.

She emphasizes technical and tactical growth while fostering resilience, confidence, and character in her players. She is passionate about teaching life lessons through soccer and celebrates the growth of her athletes both on and off the field. Kimberly often reminds her players, “Keep working hard! Failure is important to keep growing as a player.”

Off the field, Kimberly is a dedicated mother of five, four of whom play soccer, and is an avid supporter of the Philadelphia Union.
