Jenna Peters

Jenna Peters is the Head Coach of the Pennsbury High School Girls Soccer Program and has been coaching with Yardley Makefield Soccer (YMS) for over two years. She currently works with the YMS Academy Program, helping shape the next generation of players by focusing on foundational skills, confidence-building, and love for the game.

A proud product of YMS herself, Jenna spent over a decade playing for the club before going on to compete at Pennsbury High School and later at West Chester University. As a player, Jenn’s achievements are numerous. She was named Player of the Year at Pennsbury, earned both First and Second Team All-League honors, and was recognized as an All-Southeastern PA player. During her collegiate career at West Chester, she was named Player of the Week and, later on, was inducted into the Pennsbury Hall of Fame. Among her most cherished playing memories are winning districts in high school and reaching the NCAA Sweet 16 while playing at West Chester.

Jenna’s coaching philosophy centers on holistic player development. She is deeply motivated by the small, meaningful moments when players grow both on and off the field. “What motivates me most as a coach is seeing players grow on and off the field. Whether it’s a new skill finally clicking or a quiet player finding their voice, those moments remind me why I do this. What keeps me passionate is the energy the kids bring every day and the constant learning the game offers,” she says.

Beyond the soccer field, Jenna is a dedicated 4th grade teacher. She brings the same level of energy, compassion, and leadership into the classroom that she brings to her teams. “Working with kids is something I’m passionate about, both in the classroom and on the field,” she shares. When she’s not coaching or teaching, Jenn enjoys going for runs to clear her mind and spending quality time with her family, which she considers one of the most important parts of her life.

Jenna is also a big fan of Gotham FC and draws inspiration from the professional game as she continues to grow in her own coaching career.
