Ray is from Levittown, PA and has been a member of the YMS coaching staff since 1995. He has coached YMS teams at various levels and spent many years as a staff trainer and mentor for the YMS Recreation League.

Ray holds a USSF E license. During his time at YMS, he led the U17 Boys in their PA Indoor State Cup Championship win in 2001, and the U17 Girls to their PA Indoor Challenge Cup title in 2011. 

In addition to YMS, he has coached at BTSC, Parkwood Soccer Club, and Bishop Egan High School. Prior to coaching, Ray played in the NJ Schafer League, at UGH, and in the YMS men's league.
