A proud YMS alumna and passionate coach, Dani Cady brings over a decade of experience with the club to her current role. Originally from Yardley, Pennsylvania, Dani spent 12 years as a player at YMS, where she developed a lifelong love of the game and a deep understanding of what it means to be part of a team.

She attended Pennsbury High School, where she stood out as both a leader and performer on the field. During her time at PHS, Dani earned multiple accolades, including SOL All-League First Team honors in 2017–18 and Honorable Mention recognition in 2016–17.

Dani went on to play collegiate soccer at West Chester University, where she continued her growth as both a player and student of the game.

Now in her third year coaching at YMS, Dani currently leads the YMS Crushers 2009 team. Her favorite coaching memory to date has been watching the Crushers evolve into a focused and unified group. “Seeing the Crushers develop their identity and become a family on and off the field has been so rewarding,” she says.

Her coaching philosophy centers on confidence, effort, and character development. “My approach to developing young players is focused on boosting their confidence and encouraging them to try their best. Their best is always enough,” she explains. She believes in instilling core values that extend beyond the game: “Soccer is a team sport. Accountability, communication, and respect are things I expect every day.”

As a coach, Dani is driven by the energy and resilience of her players. “The players are the reason I coach. Their passion keeps mine alive,” she says. Her advice to players: “Embrace the learning process. Mistakes are part of growth.”

Outside of soccer, Dani recently completed her Master’s degree at Arcadia University and enjoys spending time with family, traveling, and supporting her favorite club, Manchester United.
