ALLISON LOPER

A native of Bensalem, Pennsylvania, Ally Loper brings a fresh and passionate perspective to her role at YMS, shaped by her experience as both a player and an emerging coach.

Ally developed her game at Nazareth Academy High School before continuing her soccer career at Holy Family University, where she played collegiately and earned numerous accolades. During her time at Holy Family, Ally was named CACC Rookie of the Week, selected to the CACC All-Tournament Team, and honored as a CACC All-Conference Honorable Mention player— recognitions that reflect both her technical ability and competitive spirit.

Now in her second year at YMS, Ally coaches the 2015 Girls Pride team. She is deeply committed to fostering a love for soccer and a drive for excellence in every player she works with. Her coaching philosophy centers on building confidence and resilience, helping players navigate challenges and setbacks in order to grow. “When they face difficulty, I ask them what they can do better and how they can fix it,” she says. “It helps them grow not just as players, but as people.”

One of her favorite memories so far was her first-ever win as a coach, a moment that underscored the joy and fulfillment she finds in guiding young athletes. Ally believes strongly in character development and uses the game to instill life lessons in teamwork, discipline, and accountability.

Off the field, Ally is pursuing a doctorate in physical therapy and enjoys staying active, spending time with friends, and supporting her favorite teams—Chelsea and the U.S. Women’s National Team.
