The YMS Celtic (U13B) and Xplosion (U16B) premier boys teams have earned a spot in the 2008 EPYSA NCS State Cup Finals by virtue of their semi-final wins this past weekend in West Chester. The Celtic team (coached by David Simpson) defeated Montgomery United 4-0 to earn their first state cup final appearance, while the Xplosion (coached by John Greaves) return to the state cup finals for the 5th time in 6 years as a result of their 1-0 win over the Metro Jaguars. The Celtic will face PA Classics, and the Xplosion will play Lower Merion in their respective finals. Congratulations to both teams, and best of luck in the FINALS!!

Tryouts for the 2008-09 U13 (Pressure), U14 (Celtic) and U16 (Thunder) boys premier teams begin this week at Macclesfield Park in Yardley. Please go to the "Tryout" link on the left hand side of the YMS Premier Site for dates, times and contact information. The U17 (Xplosion) and U18 (Premier 90) will be held in June.

The YMS Premier girls tryouts (U11-Inferno, U12-Wildcats, U15-Fury) will begin next week. The U17 (Comets) and U18 (Speed Demons) will be held in June.

Dates for the June tryouts will be posted shortly.

Three (3) YMS Premier boys teams will be participating this weekend in the semi-finals of the EPYSA NCS state cup. Games will be played on Saturday and Sunday at (2) locations in West Chester, PA. The U13 Premier Celtic will play Montgomery on Saturday at 11:00am, and then on Sunday,  the U16 Premier Xplosion will face off against Metro Jaguars at 1:30pm, followed by the U17 Premier 90 against last years R1 Champs, the FC Delco Hammerheads at 3:30pm.
