YMS Celtic and Mavrix Win States!
Congratulations to the YMS Celtic team for capturing the EPYSA U13 Boys NCS State Championship with a 2-1 victory over PA Classics this morning. The Celtic now move on to the Regional Championships to be held n Portland, ME the last week in June.

Congratulations to the YMS Mavrix for capturing the U16 boys EPYSA Challenge Cup Championship today with an exciting PK victory over Radnor. Mavrix also won the Indoor State Title for U16 Boys!

The YMS Xplosion (U16 boys) and YMS Speed Demons (U17 girls) were both crowned Champions this past weekend at the 11 v 11 Presidents Day Soccer Tournament, Jacksonville, Florida. Congratulations to both teams!

U17 Speed Demons place 1st at MAPS Winter Showcase
The U17 Girls Speed Demons placed first at the MAPS College Showcase at Fort Dix, NJ in December. They played in the Diamond Division(1st) and played teams from Canada, and Virginia. Congratulations to the Speed Demons!

The U-12 YMS Storm girls participated in the Branchburg Soccer Club tournament this  past weekend.   The team played 4 games, won all 4 games  and  allowed just one goal during their 1st place  championship victory. Congratulatuions to our U12 Girls!

YMS Thunder to play in Soccer State Cup Championship

 

 

 

In a competition of the top 29 boys under 14 teams in Eastern Pennsylvania , the YMS Thunder has advanced to the championship game of EPYSA travel soccer. They will play the FC Delco Roadkill, the number one ranked team in the country at the end of May. The Thunder competes year-round at the highest levels of club soccer in the area, playing in Delco Division 1 in the Fall and the Region 1 Colonial Premier League in the Spring. In front from left are: Brendan Wood, Michael Loughery, Matt Landy, Evan Kastrenakes, Shane Donovan, Rob Poli, Nico Delgado, Greg Cohen. U15 Girls Premier Comets-2007 State Cup Finalists!

The U15 Girls Premier Comets were in a 1-1 game at the end of regulation, and went to overtime  against the Hershey Attack for a final of  1-3. The Comets battled against Hershey , the present  Region 1 Champions and the reigning 2006 state cup champions. Congratulations to the Comets -State Cup Finalists 2007!

YMS U 12 Jaguars win EPIC Tournament!

The YMS U-12 Jaguars won the U-12 White division of the EPIC tournament held this weekend. They started with a 1-1 tie against Lighthouse . They won the next three games not allowing a goal.  YMS Jaguars verses  VE Cheetahs 5-0,  verses LV Magic 2-0, verses  CRUSA Storm 2-0 in the final.  Way to go Jags!

YMS Speed Demons- U16 Champions

The U 16 Girls Speed Demons went 5-0 this past Memorial Day Weekend in the Virginian Tournament, VA. The Virginian hosts over 650 teams each year. The Demons were in the Cup Division. In the semi Final Game vs the Richmond Kickers the game  went into a rain delay and had to wait about 1 hour  to play the last 2 minutes of the game. After the delay, the game continued to double overtime, and still no score. The game went to P.K ’s and the Demons won in PK’s 3-0. The Championship game was against the Clifton Stallions (NJ) , and the Demons won 2-0.

Demons begin their first round of State Cup games this Saturday. Demons face Council Rock at Council Rock North 2:30pm. Good Luck to all the Demons!

YMS Premier Celtic VA RUSH CUP CHAMPIONS !

The U12 Boys Premier Celtic team won the Rush Cup on the Coast Tournament in Virginia Beach, VA this past weekend (March 10-11). They went 4-0 in the tournament and only gave up 1 goal for the whole weekend. Congratulations to our boys!

The U16 Girls Premier Demons also attended the Rush Cup tournament , going on to the semi finals but bowed to the  Virginia Rush NIke team 0-2 in the semi final game.

YMS U15 Boys and Girls - Score at the Shore Tournament Champs !
The YMS U15 Premier Comets girls and the U15 Premier Xplosion boys teams both claimed
titles at the premier level Score at the Shore tournament in Florida this past weekend. The Comets defeated
the Florida state champs, First Coast KYX 3-0 in the girls final held in Tampa, while the Xplosion
defeated FC United (IL) 3-1 in the boys final held in Jacksonville.
YMS U14 Boys Premier Thunder wins Nether Providence Spring Challenge (Robert Urban Memorial)
 
The YMS U14 Boys Premier Thunder won the Nether Providence Spring Challenge Tournament on April 7th.  The Thunder played in the top U14 divison and outplayed 3 DELCO Divison 1 teams enroute to a 2 win, 1 tie record. The Thunder outscored their opponents 7-1.
