On Friday May 30th, the Yardley Makefield Soccer Club officially opened it’s new Turf Field! Over 500 players, parents, coaches, and Lower Makefield Township officials attended the ceremony. The Yardley Makefield Fire Department came to the rescue of YMS by hoisting the A & G Photography team up several hundred feet in the air in order to take several aerial photos of the players and coaches who formed a huge YMS on the field. Roger Deininger ( Club president) along with Steve Santasario and Pete Stainthorpe( Mower Makefield Township officials), cut the ribbon to make the field officially open. The coaches, professional staff, and board members played a game afterwards and entertained both parents and players. A great night was had by all!
