Sunday Sept 19th v Harleysville Hurricanes
Great team effort yesterday to produce a hard fought win against a good Harleysville club.
Everyone contributed to the win but special kudos go to Jess Clark, who played great despite being ill for a few days before; to Syl Fisher for returning from her knee injury to spark our offense; and to Carly Riggs for playing a great all around game in goal and recording her 2nd straight shutout.
Great job by all.
Ross Haney Tournament, Sept 4-5
Congratulations on a great Ross Haney Tournament. I
It was a fun weekend and with the exception of Saturday afternoon’s game, the girls played extremely well. As we told them after the game, what probably impressed the coaches most is the way that the girls consistently overcame adversity throughout the weekend, particularly in Sunday’s championship game.
Comeback efforts like Sunday’s are the mark of a good and maturing team. We know we had Upper Makefield on the ropes down the stretch and they were happy to get to PK’s…
