The YMS Premier Xplosion U16 Boys team has qualified for the 2008 USYSA National Championships scheduled for July 22-27 in Little Rock, Arkansas. The Xplosion qualified by virtue of their 2nd place finish in the inaugural 2008 USYSA National League that consisted of (*) of the top teams in the nation, including teams from Texas, California, Minnesota, Georgia, New York , and Illinois. The Xplosion will be the first team from YMS to be represented at this prestigious event.

For almost 30 years the Yardley Makefield Soccer Club  has provided an opportunity to play soccer for youth between the ages of 3 1/2 to adult. Presently the club is over 2,000 members strong which includes recreational , travel, adult league players, coaches and staff.Our goal is to create an atmosphere within which children and adults of all ability levels can learn the game of soccer as well as important life skills of sportsmanship, teamwork and discipline.

The Yardley Makefield Soccer Club  and several local businesses are working together to sponsor a project to renovate athletic fields and park facilities at Macclesfield Park located along the Delaware River in Lower Makefield Township, PA. 
At Macclesfield Park construction of a new synthetic turf soccer field has been underway for the past several months, and the project should be completed during the spring 2008 season.  The adjacent existing grass athletic fields are being reseeded and rolled for improved playability. 
Funding for these projects has come principally from the Yardley Makefield Soccer Club it’s supporters as well as local donations collected by the association through  Banner Sponsorships surrounding the yet to be erected fence around the field.  For more information, and an application to become a sponsor and contributor to the new field please go to the link below.

Coach Howie Anderson was recently diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. We are selling bracelets to benefit him and his family.
